Your moment to be free
Here is a set that I created this week. It was commissioned by the Ohio Music Teachers Association for the national conference. I couldn't help thinking of the sadness of the song "Blackbird" while working on it, hence the title "Your moment to be free." I've used a great pendant created from a scrabble tile, sterling silver 8th note charms, wonderful sterling connectors whose scrolls really look like f-holes and a bass clef, moonstone, onyx, and Swarovski crystal.

New Line
I've finally introduced my new line of jewelry called "Painted Lady." I'm loving this line, as I can focus on my art obsession and create jewelry at the same time. Each piece in this line is based on either a painting or the overall style of a painter. I've listed pieces based on Klimt, Monet, Degas, and Van Gogh so far. Still in the design phase are Georgia O'Keeffe, Chagall, and Kandinksy. Many more will follow!
"For they could not love you
But still your love was true
And when no hope was left inside
On that starry, starry night
You took your life as lovers often do
But I could have told you Vincent
This world was never meant for one as
beautiful as you."
